Queen City Engineering & Design, based in Concord, NC, is a North Carolina-registered Professional Engineering firm established in 2015 with the mission to deliver value through our Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Services.

Founded by Rex Carriker, P.E., a graduate of North Carolina State University, Queen City Engineering & Design was created to provide comprehensive engineering solutions for the complex challenges faced by our customers in modern manufacturing. With a career rooted in Research & Development, Rex's vision was to create a firm that specializes in providing turn-key solutions to intricate engineering problems.

Our in-house team of engineers and technicians is highly proficient in the design and development of custom, purpose-built products and solutions. Understanding that our clients require real-world solutions to real-world challenges, we made the strategic decision in 2018 to relocate to a 7,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Concord, NC. This state-of-the-art facility, equipped with machining, sheet metal, welding, and finishing capabilities, enables us to offer truly turn-key solutions by maintaining full control over the entire development process.
