Queen City Engineering & Design, located in Concord, NC, is a North Carolina registered Professional Engineering firm founded in 2015 to bring value to our customers with our Mechanical Engineering & Manufacturing Services.

Having worked exclusively in Research & Development throughout his career, our Founder and President, Rex Carriker P.E., a graduate of North Carolina State University, created Queen City Engineering & Design to provide Turn-Key Engineering Solutions for the complex problems our customers encounter in modern manufacturing. Our in-house team of engineers and technicians are highly skilled in the design and development of purpose built, custom engineered products and solutions.  We realize our customers want real-world solutions to their real-world problems so it is this reason that in 2018 we relocated to a new 7,000 sqft manufacturing facility in Concord, NC.  With machining, sheet metal, welding, and finishing capabilities, this addition allows us to provide truly Turn-Key Solutions to our customers by fully controlling the entire development process resulting in greater flexibility and shorter lead times. We have built our business by earning our customers’ trust through creating realistic, cost effective solutions to their most troubling problems.
